Re-examination
(including working with law enforcement)
Each day across the country families are touched by the loss of a loved one. Each case comes with its own unique set of circumstances and information. However, the factor of emotional loss is one that remains the same. It is important to recognize how these cases affect the loved ones who are left behind. Great care and respect should be considered when re-examining cases.
The process of re-examining a cold case can appear to be an overwhelming task. From reports and statements to evidence and working with law enforcement, it is a time consuming quest. Still, without continuing to pursue justice, cases will lose their ability to be solved. Time is not a friend of the cold case investigator.
